christmas... stress

it is the 17th.  we are having our first Christmas event on the 22nd with my parents, my sister, and her boyfriend. I bought Cory NCAA third round tickets...and they won't be here until like March.. therefore, Ive got to get him something to open saturday.        and i dont know what to get him... 5 days...and I have no idea.     UGHHHHH ... i'm stressed.

gotta find something quick! Any ideas???

i'm a slacker..

yes. i am a slacker.

I intended on updating my blog daily.. then came the end of the semester, and job hunting, and unemployment filing, and carter's birthday, first hair cut, birthday party, etc.  So it was way too much stress to try to blog and do all of that!

BUT, now I am going to update whenever I get a chance.

Lately, I've been a "stay-at-home" mom.   It's stressful. It's a lot harder than people think it is... at least with my child it is. He's spoiled. He has a temper. He's whiney.   Our days are long.   But i do love my little meanie boy.

On the flip side, I'm gonna start looking for designs for my blog. ♥

if it weren't for...

my son, my boyfriend, my family, my friends, and my awesome grades I've been receiving this semester..

then losing my job would be a pain in my butt!

There are just somethings you can't let get ya down! 

Tomorrow--Carter and I are going shopping with Granny and Aunt Ashie.  Since I'm unemployed, it'll be a lot more looking than shopping. (broke..as a joke)  

I'm just super glad to have Carter's birthday & Christmas presents taken care of. Above all, my son will have the best! Job or not! 

I've applied many places. Wish me luck and hope I receive a call!!

days behind..

I'm days behind on my countdown..and i probably won't pick back up on it. this week has been horrible.

Wednesday, I was fired from my job. So that now leaves me unemployed. Which is not okay. I have a baby to raise and buy for, a house to make payments on, a cellphone & a car to make payments on.. it's just SO stressful.

  enough of my pity party. let's talk about something else!

I've moved up in the world and got an Iphone..  yay me!! :) 

I'm ready for Thanksgiving and family time. it's much needed. 

I dont remember which day I left off on.. BUT a new goal I have now is to get a job!  Or at least a source of income flowing into my household to help pay my bills!  One that will work around my January school schedule.    Why can't I be rich?  ugh.

today on the countdown.. i plan on going on a cruise!! Cory and I have talked about it and I'd say we will be planning on going one in the future!! I hear they're actually not THAT expensive. guess once I start doing some research on it, i'll find out for sure!


I didn't get to watch Monday is a Mother (Teen mom 2).. i'll have to get caught up throughout this week!!! ...yes.im a teen mom junkie, leave me alone. :)

& the countdown continues

Happy MONDAY y'all!!!

I hate mondays.

there is seriously nothing worse than a monday...

 

ANYWAY. I skipped yesterday on the countdown, so today I'll make up for it.

day #10. I want to get married!!!!!!! I have my whole wedding basically planned out on a yellow notepad...dont laugh. I've got colors, bridal party, events, what i'm wearing, where i'm getting what i'm wearing, etc. My biggest  concern is the decor. I cant really decide what I want. But all i know is I want a big rock on my finger..and I'll continue to wait until I get one I suppose. *sigh*

day #9. I hope to one day have my dream job as a Clinical Psychologist! I keep running into problems with getting my bachelor's.. but hopefully once I get it, i can hit the high road into graduate school and have my masters!!! (maybe even go for my doctorate??....ehh i'm still iffy about that).. I would resort with any type of psychological therapy as a dream job actually. I always dreamed of working in a criminology atmosphere. Really getting into the minds of victims, or even criminals. It seems SOOOO interesting!!! ah I'd love it.

Family thanksgiving went swell. Tons of good food and nice chats with family!

Carter & I after we got home.. He has a diaper on.. Promise. He was running around in it...after he peed in his bedroom floor while being changed.. (ah. babies & mommyhood)

AND lastly. I want to show you all this house that I saw yesterday.. It is Cory's Great Grandmothers house.. who died.. and was left to his Mema's brother.. who died.. who left it to his son (Cory's second Cousin..i think).. anyway. this picture is from google maps.. so it sucks.. but apparently cory says its "run down".. "would take $100,000 or more to fix up"..  Well. I dont care. I want to go in this house and see how bad its really damaged.. because i LOVE IT!! I loooove old houses anyway. but the fact that its HUGE makes me love it even more.. So yes. I am determined to go in this house before the year is up.. just look at how big it looks from the sky!!!

Ughh I want this house. It would make for an awesome *maybe expensive* project.. But thats just something to add to my to-do list countdown, right?

day #11.. on a saturday night!

day #11 on the countdown.. i hope to own a HUGE house one day.. there is a house on this street close to our house that i LOVE LOVE LOVE..  I tell cory daily we should become friends with those people...and today he replied back with "those type of people don't become friends with people like us"... hahaha he's probably right.. but that house is my dream house.. reminds me so much of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's house...and i LOVE Jessica and Nick.  I'm still sad they divorced 7 years ago. lol



now that i've done my countdown, let's talk about my dayyyyyy.  Cory, Carter and I went out to walmart today and bought Carter's birthday presents... I figure we'll give it two weeks, then go back and get his Christmas.. (his birthday is the 6th...christmas is right about the corner!) I wrapped it.. with a whole roll of paper.. (The gift is THAT big).. and also I took a 20 minute walk with bekka this morning.. to lose weight... then ate a HUGE lunch from Big Mooses.. so that was shot to heck.  oh well.   

FIRST THANKSGIVING DINNER TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i am so excited!!!! i LOVE family time and family FOOD!

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend..  Carter and I are chilling in the bed while his daddy is working security at the Cinemas..  YAY SATURDAYS!

i keep hearing noises in my house... like someone throwing rocks at carters window.. when i peaked my head around the corner.. it stopped......       i'll be bustin' a cap if Someone's out there.... cory took the gun.. but i'll find something IF i have to.. lol shhhewwww i hate being alone!!!

2) I mistakenly thought it was snowing on the Parkway on my way to Vote.... turns out.. it was a truck pulling a trailer with Hay on it.... the "snow" was hay.. *i'm a genius*.. I sometimes wonder why the country lets me vote during moments like those.. I don't have a picture.. because my andriod isn't cool enough to screen capture. BLAH.

*btw. i just had a freak out moment trying to find my phone.... while i was using it to download an app. i'm a moron.*

3) I recieved a visit from my best friend and her little one, Kynlee :)

4) Cory's Dad and step-mom are taking us to Gondolier tonight!!!!!!! YAYYYY!!!

Day #12 of my countdown.. I dream of coaching a cheerleading squad.. Being a cheerleader from 6th grade up until my senior year.. being captain 8th and senior year.. i have a devotion for cheerleading. I hope to one day coach my own squad.. preferably a middle school squad.. just because that's where they develop the love for cheer..  (not so much an attitude either, like high school).. let's hope i can achieve that one day!

As my countdown continues-- I'd like to announce that my blog will not look this *boring* for long. Hopefully, in the next week or so, I will have some editing done to it, making it look nice & neat!

Day #13...
Today on my *lifelong to-do* list.. I'm adding GRADUATE COLLEGE!!!!! With my major being in Psychology, I plan on attempting to get into graduate school. I heard it's hard.. So i ordered a book that tells me ALL about the GRE (the test you take to get into graduate school).. talk about a THICK book. I've got a lot to study! IF all goes well, I should be graduating NEXT december(2013).. however, I've ran into a bump in the road.. because my current full-time job.. isn't willing to work around my school schedule in January. SO.. that means I either have to fall behind on my graduation date & go part time.. or find a different job.   I keep telling myself, I have until January to figure this out.. PRAY for me...because I'll be needing it!!!


I'll be ordering some more stuff for my son's *FIRST* birthday today.. ehhhhh I'm getting exciiiiiited!!!  His invitations were made by his *nino* and i got a sneak peak of them yesterday... they're SOOOO cute!!! And since I intend on sharing everything with you, bloggy people.. here is the sneak peak to Carter's invitations.. but keep it a secret, I want everyone to be surprised!!! :)

ps. Keep my hometown in mind, as a 2011 high school graduate shot himself last night & did not survive. I don't know much on the story, but that's what i've been told happened.

new title = new start

I never post on here. and Today while looking along others blog's, i thought to myself.. I want my ideas, thoughts, opinions, etc posted so the world can see! I plan on getting some guidance from my sister over at www.ashleenikol.com but hopefully I can follow through with it this time!!

My new titly 'The Daily Dream" is basically because that's all  I do... is day dream of things I want, what I want to do in life.. I mean who doesn't do that?? 

SO today I figured I would start you off with a Thanksgiving countdown (no, it's not the "I'm thankful for" countdown going on on facebook...) This is a countdown of things I want to achieve in my lifetime. One thing per day. If you're interested in joining me, please do! I think it'll be interesting!! Since it's already the 7th day of the month.. I'll start from here..

Day #14..
As i'm sitting at work... on a sloooow wednesday.. I thought to myself.. After I make my achievements in life.. I think I want to become a foster parent. I think there would be nothing better in life than knowing I helped a young child who has suffered from some type of abuse, depression, or neglect!! This, of course, will be years from now.. After I (might) have a second child... and after a lot more other things.. but it's on my to do list in the future!! Everyone should take part in becoming a foster parent IF they have the time, the money, the patience, or the heart for it! All children deserve a loving home!! (coming from someone who wasn't crazy about kids before she had one of her own!!)

Okay. so we all know we've ALL had that ONE embarrasing email address.   [actually i never have. mine have always been hb_62 or haylee_brooke7]... but you know what i'm talking about!!!    As i'm doing some maintenance at work, i can't help but laugh out loud a little bit at the emails that people have!   And its so obvious that its their *old, middle school/high school* address because they come in and change them to a much more sophisticated, mature address. For instance, one i ran over was "mamajama" something another. Like, come on people. You can't help but laugh!   One of my best friends had an email "bos_baby123"..... hahahaha its so funny..  another had "yummy_starbucks" hahahahahahahaha   Thats my laughter for the day..... hilarious email addys.  Gotta love it!


p.s. I only made it to 15 days coke-sober but i broke down and had a delicious, wonderful, chilly, caffeine & sugar filled mt dew.    and in fact, i'm enjoying a mello yello as i type this.   with my job, i have to have SOMETHING to boost my spirits in the morning..... and coke/soda/pop, what have you, is my something.

13 days? heck yeah!

if it wasnt for my blog, i would have no idea that i have made it 13 days without drinking sodas!!!!!! YAY ME!  In fact, I bought some packets of green tea that you put in bottled water ..and started that yesterday.. its horrible, yes.   BUT no calories and no suga..and i hear green tea is heathy for ya.   Its helped my appetite too surprisingly.   I started my day with Chocolate cake.. yeah, yeah i know.. but i got it a gondolier last night and i had to finish it today lol.  and i wasnt hungry at lunch ... and for supper i had chicken noodle soup. Its pretty awesome. maybe I can lose some weight this way!   Id love to lose it in my face...     i wish there was a way that you can tighten everything up without working out.   I hate working out.  
anyway.  baby is asleep. im ready for bed myself. the little teething boy has been up in the middle of the night screaming his head off because of his top teeth coming in. Poor baby!     :(    well. its time to get bottles ready for the night and a bottle of water!

OH YEAH.. 33 days until GATLINBURG!!!!     *Yay!*

waTer-dRinkin' dieT

Just wanted to let the world know.. I am no longer drinking sodas, cokes, pops, whatever you may call them. I am 3 days coke-sober. Although it is killing me deep down inside, and my cravings are working on getting the best of me, I am refusing to drink a coke.   Cory has been MONTHS without drinking a coke, soda, etc.    This "Water-drinking" diet doesn't rule out tea or kool-aid though!!! *ahh.yay!*      HOWEVER, i have not drank any of those things either in the last 3 days! *YAY ME*


Tomorrow is my friends wedding.. I'm the maid of honor.. Hair appt at at 8 *in the morning*..wedding at 11:30 *in the morning*...   reception to follow. Gonna be a busy day, but i assume it'll be over before i know it...     Since her wedding's coming up, I spend ALL day planning mine yesterday...     *no i'm not engaged...... blah*    BUT i don't wanna be a procrastinator about my wedding because it is going to be the shiz! no doubt!!!!    BIG SHIN-DIG... BIG RECEPTION... going to be WONDERFUL!

Carter Jones!

okay. so while creeping in the blog world today (while at work, yes.) i found this blog.. http://www.growingupanjwife.com/  and i LOVE it!!!! Her daughter Elisabeth is soooo adorable. BUT anyway.. it gave me an idea for my blog.. Each month she posts a picture of Elisabeth (or E) and writes what all E is learning. Since we know the internet can never get lost (like a pysical baby book).. Why not make some posts when Carter's monthly birthday comes around?   Even though we're 7 months behind, I can start here, Right?!   Soo, here we go. Seven months!

Carter can pull up on anything and everything!!!!!! (Look at the teeth just shining!!!!) Speaking of teeth, he has his two front bottom ones *as you can see*...BUT the front TOP FOUR are ALL trying to come in at once now!! Talk about a fussy baby, but all in all, hes not so bad!

This is the look i get while singing in the car....obviously he thinks i suck. hahaha

He is currently in to EVERYTHING.. unless you get a chance to stop him.. Which doesnt happen often.

Last night, he slept ALL THE WAY through the night until 6am this morning!!! (which PA gave him a little more tylenol than he should have earlier that day..so i think the short nap from that caused the amazing nights rest!)

Carter did whaaaaa?

So. Thirty minutes left of work. and I think its time to post on my blog. (Which ive not posted on in weeks)..  so basically Carter can now crawl... and he's pretty darn good at it. He's everywhere and into EVERYTHING. As well as pulling up on everything!   He's already received his first bloody mouth from his bottom teeth biting his bottom lip (from falling after trying to pull up on an empty baby wipe container..he'll learn!) Talk about a nightmare with that accident! And i'm sure there's PLENTY more to come! Shewwwwwwwww. Here's some recent pictures of Carter :)

So basically, he fell asleep like this in the recliner with his daddy......

ten minutes later he was fired up and ready to play again...  

needless to say, carter's been a little meanie today. He doesn't want to nap (& we dont make him because he's cute).  BUT this morning, he was a tad bit on the butthead side. After beggggging his daddy to get in his lap (by begging i mean crawling to his feet, pulling him self up to his knees and practically loving all over your leg, like a puppy)  Cory let him up in his lap...which resulted to this...

yes cory is having ramen noodles for breakfast. I dont know why, just dont ask.   lol

but yes. cory was furious and put baby in baby jail. When i got home on lunch, Cory informed me that carter cried in baby jail (the play pen) until he fell asleep...and then woke up crying not long after. 

We are going to have a WONDERFUL night's sleep tonight because Carter refused to nap today. But I'm no complaining!!! OH and Cracker Barrel tonight with my Mama and Daddy, my sister Ashlee (over at http://www.ashleenikol.com/ ), MacRyan, Cory and of course, Carter!

20 things before 25!

well as i was creeping my blogs at work, i ran across sarah jewells the other day.. cbsarah.blogspot.com  and she had posted a list of things she wanted to accomplish before she turned 25..  I loved the idea, so thats what im gonna do today!!!

20 things I wanna do before I turn 25 (which is almost 4 years!!)
1.) Visit Gatlinburg!! I havent been since i was like 5.. someone take me back please :)
2.) Go to the zoo. any zoo. Haven't been since i was in kindergarden and really cant wait until Carter is old enough to go! I'll be more excited than he is!!
3.) Graduate college with SOME SORT of degree. Im set to get an associates but i really dont care. i just want one so i can be done!!
4.) Ride an airplane. I'm terrfied of them, but i want to do it just so i can say i did it!
5.) visit another country!! No preference yet. Just want to get a passport and be cool.
6.) Become a wedding/event planner on the side!! I looooove planning things... even more so, weddings!!! I looked online about taking courses and getting a certificate to be licensed but since im already attending wku, and wasting money, i better hold off and just get some practice first!! Anyone want some help with planning a wedding? Give me a call or text me :)  at the moment i'm planning my own for years down the road haha and a bachelorette party, as well as my sons birthday party.. And a friend of mine asked me to help her plan hers *After she gets engaged!*
7.) Get married!
8.) Buy a house!! a BIG house thats really pretty :)
9.) Move up in my job at SCB. I'd love to get used to everything so that one day I can be promoted!!
10.) Coach a cheerleading squad. Middle or high school, I dont care. I just love cheerleading and miss it so much!!!
11.) Travel to California!!!
12.) Meet Jessica Simpson!
13.) Get my car paid off!
14.) Record a song in a recording studio. I cant sing, but they can make anybody sound good! Like that "Friday" girl.. shes horrible.
15.) Have my own reality tv show... yeaah, i know. Lame. but seriously. I think my friends and I have enough drama in our lives to make it....... wouldn't even have to fake, like the kardashians!
16.) Meet Maci Bookout and Kailyn Lowry!! Infact, All the teen moms!!!
17.) Go to Nashville for a weekend and see my dear friend Leah!! I miss her so! :)
18.) Become crafty like my sister!! She can make anything she sees on the internet!!
19.) Become a better cook.. right now I'm a pro at grilled cheese..and frozen things! haha
20.)  Be able to afford a Massage every two weeks and a pedi every week... That'd be lovely!!

School's ouuuut foooooor Summmmmerrrrr

School is FINALLY out!!!!!!!!!!   I know 3 of my 4 grades and they don't look the best.. including one F (so far).. but ya know what... for it to be my first F in my 3 year college history...I'll Take it!!!!  I'm in the last 20 minutes of my friday at work.. The time is ticking slowly.    My sister, Ashlee over at http://www.ashleenikol.com/ started the 30 day ab challenge last night and I believe i'm gonna start it tonight!  Cory and I are going to Darby's (cory's little sister) dance recital tonight and once we get back, I guess i'll start my work out! (that'll be a sight!).. But the pictures shannon (http://www.lifeafteridew.com/) took of before and after have reaaaaallllyyyy inspired me!! So I cant wait to do my before and after! (just gotta stayed motivated and do it EVERY day!).. Now that schools out, maybe i'll have more time!  

I've typed enough now for the 15 minute countdown at work.  Only 15 minutes stand between me and the weekend!! And i am soooooooo ready..  OH and it's my first MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND!!!!!!!  Wonder what Carter has up his sleeve to get me?...    :) Guess we'll have to wait and see. 

I was told our time rounds within 7 minutes of our time punches. so i'll probably leave at 4:53.  which i have down many times before. I sit here for like 3 hrs and have nothing to do.. I want to get paid.. but geez.   Can't wait to get home and see my wittle monster! (i found shirts at the childrens place that actually say that... which is odd bc i've been callin Carter my little monster for going on a week.. dont ask why, it just came out)..  

It's 4:48.. I guess i shall close this up and get to gettin it! Guess i'll post next week about my mother's day.

Carter's *getting* Smarter!!

Sooo Today cory's grandma, Janie, is watching little man.  I get a call on my cellphone around 10:30-11:00 am while i'm at work and it's Janie. I'm thinking oh gosh. Something's wrong. 

WELL come to find out.. Carter got on his knees and raised up with his arms like he was gonna CRAWL!!!... but then he laid back on his belly and hasn't done it again ever since.  :(    BUT i think that means Carter will soon be crawling!!!! YAY :D    (and bad at the same time considering he will then be able to run away when it comes diaper changing time...joy)   

So, I'm sitting here at work. Bored. Haven't had anything to do for the last two hours.. I've looked at houses. done some bank training. studied 3 chapters for my final i have at 5:30. looked at blogs. peed. chewed sugar free gum. ate sugar free candy. drank water.  peed. looked at words with friends.. nothing there... looked at draw free...nothing there.. facebook creeped... checked my email a dozen times. nothing there..    and there ya have it. that's it. that's my afternoon on the job.   I guess until i get trained a little bit more I cant do anything with customers so until then. i just sit here.   boooorrrrriiiiiiinnnnngggggg.If anyone has some suggestions on things to do, let me know ;)


Well its time to go pee again. yay. so until next time (which maybe i'll be done with school by then.)

FAILED

okay. i failed the weightloss challenge...... i'm horrible. 

but it's finals week... and i love to eat during this time of my life.. :( sad but true.
annyyywaaayyy... Is it sad that I spend my time at work reading blogs?  (and checking facebook on my phone and studying for my final that i'm gonna fail tonight at 6:45?)...  i'm stressed and ready to go home.. I need an "it's ok Thursday" post.. but sadly, it's only monday..      let me just vent a little... I spent 20 FREAKIN DOLLARS (that's 24 tickets) on a raffle here at the bank.. for a $450 mothers day basket that i REALLY REALLY wanted.... and guess what? I didn't win it... (although the money goes to charity).. I WANT ME MONEY BACK..  :(  


my wittle baby is staying at my parents house tonight.. so i'll be lonely tonight :(..   it's perfect timing to take my online *100 question* final after my marketing final... OH and SECRET LIFE AT NINE!! For all you who are into the show!! I can't wait to see what happens tonight!!!! I read on facebook that Dylan is gonna try to be friends with Adrian....................... Dylan's crazy and I don't like her.    And I hope Amy gets her head out of her butt and ends up marrying Ricky in the end. :) okay. my venting is over... time to study some more.
